the story of L.O.K.i.

words became a way to reflect, tell the truth, define the self, and become.

the beginning

I have always loved words in a way the people around me did not seem to understand. At six years old, I turned a closet into an office and quietly began developing that love.

I loved poetry before I even knew what it was called. Rhymes filled my tablets as I searched for something beyond what I could understand at the time. I was not popular, so I wrote quietly—especially during the moments when I did not know what to say.

the pull of words

As I grew older, learning about Shakespeare, reading Proverbs in the Bible, and leafing through used books lying around the house drew me closer to my passion. Watching Shakespeare in Love and Chocolat, I became captivated by the way the characters spoke.

I fell in love with the language of love and heartache—with everything that could be found in love and loss. Storms and gloomy days became my favorite times to write. With a distant piano and a low drone underneath it, I would enter a different zone and flood the pages with anything I could.

the name

While creating music and writing, I wanted a name that felt unique—something magical and personal. Inspired by Doctor Strange, I created LOKI WIZART.

At first, LOKI simply meant “low-key,” written that way for simplicity. WIZART came from the idea of being a wizard at art. My art forms were music creation, poetry, writing, and digital abstract art.

Later, when I began sharing my work and words through a blog that did not allow us to use our real names, I settled on just_loki. Something clicked. I received an unexpected compliment about both the name and my writing, and that moment stayed with me.

I have always had a zeal for minimal things. The name was simple, personal, and different. It felt meant for me.

the mirror

When people encounter my writing, I want them to reflect. I want them to dive deeply enough to see who they truly are without lying to themselves.

The work is not there to make anyone feel better or less than another person. It is there to help them see themselves honestly—to recognize their own experiences within the words and find what they have been avoiding.

The writing is a mirror. What someone discovers in it belongs to them.

What connects them is me.

Each one holds a mirror of expression. My books, poetry, music, podcast, abstract art, and clothing allow me to tell a story without having a conversation.

I am simply eager to find those willing to listen—to watch the world through my lens and fall in love with the spaces and the void within things.
